Say we have requiring roughly 100,000 BTU. A Lochinvar Knight WHB110N would do the job.
They want a 50 gallon indirect. The SIT050 Min. Coil Load is 133,000. This would require the WHB155N.
With the 10:1 turn-down, I would think installing the WHB155N would be the ideal install to quickly satisfy the DHW demands while the boiler can ramp down for the space heating needs.
Same thing with the Noble NKC199N, oversizing for the higher DHW output, counting on boiler firing lower for lesser space heating requirements.
Would this be an accurate statement?
